Director & Staff
The executive director administers, manages, and directs the affairs and business of the commission, subject to the policies, control, and direction of the commissioners. Responsible for implementation of policies set by the commissioners as well as annual goals and objectives, and financial, program, and administrative management of the MPSC.
Conducting propane safety inspections primarily in southern Missouri is Mr. Patten's main job function. He is also charged with enforcing statutes and rules, and investigating incidents involving propane.
Mr. Dougherty's main job function is the enforcement of statutes and rules through propane safety inspections. His areas of concentration are the north and eastern counties of the state. He also investigates propane incidents.
Mr. Root's main job function is the enforcement of statutes and rules through propane safety inspections. His area of concentration is the western counties of the state. He also investigates propane incidents.
Marlene processes registrations, installation and bulk storage applications, along with updating training records and producing training certification cards. She also provides support for field inspectors, updating inspections and leak test records.
